to update!!! well well. it's been at least a week since we came back from our memorable batam trip, and dinner at carnivore, still no one came to blog about it. so here i am! heck i didn't even blog about it on my own blog.

There's nothing much to say, since i'm not those who blog about every single detail and emotion that happened so in summary...it was GREAT fun! we went swimming, paintball, shopping/pool, and basically slacked in the room. night was spent scaring each other with horror stories, then turning off all the lights to spook everyone out. haha.

carnivore. well, some of us went carnivorous, some went omnivorous...none went herbivorous at carnivore obviously.haha. and somehow we ended up the CHIJMES outlet, which costs most of our pockets to go empty, but leaving with an extra pot belly. ended up at andrew's house (as usual) and just stayed for awhile..which would already be past midnight. considering our dinner only started at 9pm. the guys stayed overnight i think.

Seoul Garden is out, because we went there the last time a group of us went out and also, the way we were playing with our food and the cookers, we probably could have gotten kicked out xD

We could hijack Andrew's house again since it's big enough to fit our class. Or we could try to go "up street" a bit and book tables at some restaurant that will not necessarily kill our budgets.

to henry park that is. it was rather fun today..harassing mr lim's students from outside the classroom when their class hasn't ended, or down to having lunch at andrew's house with people having lost money in blackjack. i shan't mention the fact that there was rum available. but all the same, time flies.

we saw new faces namely bryan the VERY TALL onion, and chen ting, who looks rather different and has a more outgoing personality from before.
i wonder how many more times we'll ever go back there again. so here i revamped the blog, which is only active periodically, hopefully will get people updated.

on another note, we'll most probably be having another gathering at the end of this year to 1. celebrate the end of the o levels, 2. see each other again, 3. to say bon voyage to a few people in our class. so i hope most of you will be able to make it (-how many people would actually SEE this post?) and have fun for that very night as a class.details will be up much later, due to the mundane exams, but it'll most probably be in november due to time/date constraints.

Man, this blog is dying again. Haha.

Happy New Year to everyone, by the way!

Time to sound annoyingly optimistic and positive.

O level year for some of us right? Don't stress all. Study hard, slack less - Let's do our best, maybe not as a class since we aren't in the same class anymore, but as good friends who have known each other for 5 or more years already. We rock. Lol.

And for those lucky people who don't have O's, study hard for your own tests and please cheer us poor souls on. I think we are the batch who has been hit with the new O level format - It will start earlier, somewhere around the end of October, and there will not be "first three months" anymore, so we go straight to and stay in the school we're posted for our jc education.

And when we finally get past the darn exams, how about another nice reunion party for us going-to-be-hardworking-somehow people? Maybe even a chalet/major sleepover - Any one willing to give up their house space or find a place for maximum 41 nutty teenagers to crash?

The optimism of it all.

Well not here in Singapore, but somewhere else in the world, it'll be snowing. Isn't that amazing? Doesn't that make your pupils dilate with wonder? Probably not, because this is an inconsequential and totally spammy post.

But it's nice to see signs of life now and then, so it'll be better to post than not do anything. Even though I don't think this will contribute to any intellectual insights or what not. Definitely not.

In December, little children around the world will be happy! Let's be happy and not be sad. December is a happy month so be happy.

well despite all that, we still have teachers day to look forward to!
SO EVERYONE BETTER COME BACK TO HPPS so that we can all play hantom bolah or something as a class again. now isn't that fun (:
you know what. we should actually organise some games so that we can entertain ourselves properly on that day instead of stoning around like we usually do. and this way, we can include everyone too. so we should have like relay matches or something just to hype us up yay

we really should go out as a class more often. any school having some event/performance we can all catch together? or we could all go and watch a movie and stone around town aha.

I am overly unenthusiastic today, for some obscure reason. However, this will be to the benefit of the blog, for I have a host of suggestions to give! My, isnt it your lucky day? =)

Well firstly my main bug bear about this sticky site is the template, which has been sitting around in bog for who-knows how long. I think its time for an image overhaul. A change in blog address will not help if you continue to use the same template, a change in look will! Granted that Organics has just recently changed its name to Sunsilk, and certainly looks and smells nicer now (I should know because I use it), we neednt follow in their footsteps. A strategic plan to rope back in the "consumers" aka ex-6C people is just as effective as a tasteless name change.

This strategic plan should consist of a few steps to ensure longevity in the market:

1. Change template
2. Set up consistent blogging system

1. Change Template

Someone tech-y seriously needs to do this. In order for traffic to increase, people need pretty things to look at, in order to attract them back time and time again. Black, as the background for the template, is old and overused. We need to inject some newness & fresh vegetables into the whole blog. To do so, we must NOT dwell on the past. Sure, its nice to be nostalgic and sentimental sometimes, but how many people would actually WANT pictures of their immature 11/12-year-old faces boring into them as they browse through entry after entry? Not many I presume.

HENCE.

I think a template with a circus of colours should be suitable. Ask people to send in pictures of their current selves, pictures of the current Mr Lim/Lee. It would certainly make life more interesting, for everyone to see how their old classmates look like now.

Ive visited many other class blogs, and the theme is always the same: old class photos abound. Why must we conform to the norm? I guess one bitty photo of the old times would be appropriate, but I sincerely feel new photos should be main priority.

And you know what? National Day celebration tomorrow would be a good opportunity to collect photos. Though Im not sure anyone would be able to read this before they go to sleep.

2. Set up consistent blogging system

It seems its the usual people blogging everyday. Why dont we set up a roster, or a goal of sorts? Assign one or two people to post every fortnight, about their muses or their current passions, or even to suggest links to good (and DECENT/WHOLESOME) websites that they frequent. Then everyone can visit them and have lots of fun, or to poke fun at. Whatever tickles your fancy.

Look how small and cute and young we were back then!! Haha. I never imagined being able to see what we look like back in P6. Haha. Compare Zili then and Zili now. Dixon then and Dixon now. Darren then and Darren now. Pammie then and Pammie now.... etc. We were so small and innocent looking back then.

We should have like... a reunion in maybe 10 years time or so, and look back at these pictures. So cool!!!

Yes I am going to a video. Or at least try. The thing is that uploading the video into my laptop will take away quite a few GB... not even MB, you know. GB!! I'm not sure why, but yeah it's huge, but once i put it down to montage, it shd go down to MB, except the quality will be even worse. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the party. I was like worrying if we could pull this off. haha.

A few great things about the party:
1) People actually followed the dress code. I was so pleased to see the guys in collars. Haha. Chris Foo even came with tie.
2) Some of the 6Cians who we rarely see at this "go-back-to-primary-school-days" came! It was nice to see them.
3) Mr Lim was there! Waha. The big man himself. He owes me photos. Haha.
4) We had enough food! Well, actually we had too much food >.<
5) Confessions Time - Bet you all didn't expect this, pammie and I couldn't resist and Andrew agreed. Remember, everything that was said that night - Keep it to yourselves. Don't go hunting down people or getting informers to scoop out information
6) And most importantly - We had fun!

It's really cool to see how we can still bond after three years. Some people don't even remember their primary school people after two years. Haha.

Oh, I am disgusted at one thing though - The pictures I took with my camera came out pretty horrible. So have to rely on the video. In fact, the best picture was this one I took of Arnold and Darren... sad isn't it? Haha.

Anyway, group shot just for fun.

Stupid camera. I thought of bringing my digital camera, but back then I was in a rush, and my smallest digital camera didn't take very nice photos - Who knew the video camera took even worse ones? Let me just say this: Life sucks. Secondary school is the worst.

hey!!no fair....i seem like the only one posting here....hmph. and itz only the girls that post. the boys are no fun anymore..well...if you guyz dont noe the password and stuff yall can just ask?? okae..or maybe rite now is the exam period and all and im the only one not studying...sighx.

anyway...i think mr lim's birthday is somewhere in october....11th if im not wrong. we should all go back to hpps and celebrate with him if your exams are over...itz a monday...and my exams are over...wahahahah.oh wait..i probably have hockey.uh huh...sad.

today mr lim's gonna be really happy...with all the presents and all....plus...we'll be going back to meet him and all....yay!!!

AAD was sooo fun....with all the shops, and art stuff.....and performances...and bla...and bla....and bla...wahhahaha

yay!!today..we'll be having a sleepover at val's house.everybody''s invited!!!!!!wahahaha[val's house is gonna be cramped.....] yay!!!party all night long.

After reading Pamela's entry Ive suddenly remembered tht i must do my part n advertise for my school too!

Have you heard of the Cluster Arts Festival? This year, it'd be held at my school(St Margarets Secondary), on the 4th(Friday) and 5th(Saturday) of September.

There will be buskers(students n teachers frm my sch), many different booths and lots of interesting activites, such as workshops.

Its starts at 12 or 2pm on Friday, all the way until 5pm. On Saturday, it starts at 10am until 5 or 6pm in the evening. There is also a concert from 7.30-9.30pm tht day to end off the whole festival.

It will be an unforgettable experience that you will not forget!

P.S. This sounds too much like a planned script...

P.P.S. If you come, visit the Clarinet booth ok? especially on friday frm 2-3pm, when i'll be doing my duty!

in geog. class now.and the teacher is soooooo....boring.he just spent like one period just to set up the projector.actually sometimes he can be really funny.now he's explaining weathering and erosion.interesting.....NOT.

well....we'll be going back to visit mlml on tues.hpps has no half day but the sec. schools all have...wahhahaha.

Yo all. This is valerie posting here. Let's recall some weird events of 6C.

1) Biology Camp- half the class went for this, if u forgot what happened, then start whacking ur brain. We got scolded for messing with dinner on the first night. Some of us got scolded again on the second night, coz of sleeping in wrong rooms at 2 in the morning. Grp B- can u rmb the taxi-driver song? LMAO

2) Oreo- one time we sang the oreo song in class for MLML

3) PE- who can forget the great times we had playing Capt's Ball and Hantum Bola (or however the hell u spell it)

4) Chinese New Year- I somewhat recall that weihong had to keep on putting up the stupid decorations that wouldn't stay still

5) Sentosa Camp- only 16 kids frm 6C went for this. It was organised by Stacey's mom. We went swimming most of the time. You probably could identify those who went by their sunburns. MLML could not make it for the BBQ that time.
